McNally named COO of Guardian Settlement Agents

Attorney Robert T. McNally has been named chief operating officer and general counsel of Guardian Settlement Agents, one of New Jersey’s leading title insurance agencies.

In his new position, McNally will supervise operations in Guardian’s office in Somerville, Somerset County and will work with company President Drew Whipple, who is based in Guardian’s Marlton, Burlington County, office — to meet the needs of residential and commercial real estate clients throughout the state’s 21 counties.

“We are thrilled to have someone with Bob’s extensive real estate experience join us in such a key operational role,” said Guardian CEO Christopher J. Brown. “Strong customer service is our cornerstone at Guardian and we know he will be a great asset for us and our clients.”

McNally has more than a dozen years of experience in real estate law and has participated in more than 5,000 real estate settlements in that time, first with a pair of Somerset County law firms and since 2005, through his own Law Offices of Robert T. McNally.

“I look forward to working with lenders, realtors and developers across the state to facilitate their real estate closings with speed and accuracy,” McNally said. “I’ve spent most of my career working with real estate buyers and sellers and I look forward to building relationships with Guardian’s corporate clients to help them grow their businesses.”

A graduate of West Virginia University and Widener University School of Law, McNally began his legal career as a clerk in state Superior Court in Warren County for Judge Harry K. Seybolt.

After being admitted to the New Jersey Bar in 1999, McNally joined the Wiley Malehorn & Sirota law firm in Morristown, Morris County, and began practicing employment and education law.

He then worked for a year handling both real estate and general law at the Hillsborough, Somerset County law firm of Koerner & Crane and then for two years in the real estate practice of Hillsborough attorney Frank A. Blandino before opening his own firm in 2005.

McNally lives in Flemington with his wife Denise, daughter Peyton and son Decker.
