Are you looking for the newest fashions in a venue with industry insiders and professionals? Well look no further because South Jersey Fashion Weekend is the premiere event for emerging and established area designers. The catwalk shows and trendy fashions are designed to dazzle and inspire your wardrobe.
Kat Quarterman, owner of Sense of Style Boutique and producer of South Jersey Fashion Weekend, launched this event as a way to fulfill a need to showcase local talent in the fashion industry. Taking place at The Mansion in Voorhees on March 8 and 9, this two-night celebration will feature runway shows, accessories from local boutiques, and fashions from aspiring and established designers. Doors open at 5 p.m. and festivities take place from 6 to 10 p.m.
Fridayʼs lineup features a series of fashion workshops along with a forum, which showcases eight industry professionals that will share their knowledge and expertise of their respective fields. Follow that with a jewelry and accessory show, and top it off with an exclusive networking party.
Then on Saturday, check out the spring fashion runway show, which highlights cutting edge fashions, stunning couture dresses, curvy girl lingerie, male urban wear, and much more. Plus, stick around for an extravagant after party to celebrate this fantabulous event.
Giving back to the community through charitable contributions is one of the key initiatives for South Jersey Fashion Weekend. March is National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month, so this year Quarterman partnered with the Fight Colorectal Cancer organization, which helps to educate and support patients, push for changes in policy, and empower survivors. Making the evening more special, there will be survivors walking in the show!
