Eight students from Elizabeth Haddon Elementary School helped the commissioners with reading a proclamation for Read Across America, which is to be held March 1.
The annual day coincides with Dr. Seuss’s birthday. This year, he would have been 109.
Students from the school regularly attend the meetings on a rotating basis to learn about civic engagement.
“Good job,” said Mayor Tish Colombi. “Thank you for helping us out.”
