Mayor Chuck Cahn, the Ombudsman for Disabled Citizens, SEPTA and the Cherry Hill Alliance present Cherry Hill’s free winter conference for parents and professionals, “Embracing Children of all Abilities in the Classroom.”
The conference is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 23 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. at the Carmen Tilelli Community Center, 820 Mercer St., Cherry Hill.
Ellisburg McDonald’s and Wegmans of Cherry Hill will sponsor a continental breakfast.
Registration is recommended.
There will be an in depth discussion about the value of inclusion on children, teachers and administrators, strategies for inclusive education and earning a professional development certificate.
Brad Hennefer and the Golf for Life Foundation and Mary Ann Comparetto of the New Jersey Coalition for Inclusive Education will be present.
