The Junior Women’s Club of the Haddon Fortnightly will host its annual Fundraising Gala and Silent Auction on Saturday, Feb. 23 from 7 to 11 p.m.
This year’s gala will be held at the Haddon Fortnightly and will be “Taste of the Haddons” featuring cuisine from the local restaurants of all of Haddon Avenue, Collingswood, Haddonfield, Haddon Township, Haddon Heights, and more.
Tickets are $50 per person and include a selection of local cuisine, open bar of beer and wine, and entertainment.
Tickets will be available for purchase via pay pal at www.haddonjrs.org or the preferred method is a check made payable to the JWC Haddon Fortnightly and mailed to 16 Colonial Ave., Haddonfield N.J. 08033.
All proceeds are donated to local and regional charities.
Some recent beneficiaries of the club’s work include: the Covenant House, a shelter for homeless youth; the Valerie Fund, an organization supporting health care costs for kids with cancer; local food pantries, and many more.
