Police: Arson suspects set vehicle ablaze with Molotov cocktail

The following incidents were taken from reports on file with the Mt. Laurel Police Department.

On Feb. 2, at approximately 7:20 p.m., a resident of the unit block of Hilltop Drive reported two unknown subjects smashed the window of his vehicle while it was parked the driveway of the residence. The suspects threw an incendiary device, believed to be a Molotov cocktail, into the vehicle causing approximately $5,000 in damage. The suspects were seen leaving the area in a white vehicle, possibly an Acura. Subsequent investigation revealed surveillance footage from CVS Pharmacy, North Maple Avenue, Evesham, of two persons of interest believed to be connected to the crime. Anyone with information regarding the below pictured subjects, or other details pertinent to this case, are asked to contact the Mt. Mt. Laurel Police arrested a 26-year-old man of the 1900 block of Park Avenue, Oakford, PA on Feb. 4, for possession of drug paraphernalia. He was arrested after a motor vehicle stop on SH 73 at 4:15 p.m. He was arrested and released pending a municipal court hearing.

Mt. Laurel Police arrested a 28-year-old woman of Ballinger Way, Mount Laurel on Feb. 5, for forgery. The woman presented a stolen check from another jurisdiction to Columbia Bank on Ramblewood Parkway on Jan.17, for payment. She was arrested and released pending a court hearing.

An employee of Home Depot on Nixon Drive reported a shoplifting. Plumbing supplies valued at $1,522 were stolen on Feb. 4 at 5:49 p.m. Suspects were observed leaving the store in a black SUV bearing an unknown Arizona registration. The actors are described as two males. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Mt. Laurel Police Department at 234 1414, ext. 1526.

Mount Laurel Police arrested a 25-year-old woman of the 900 block of Colorado Avenue, Modesto, CA, on Feb. 4 for engaging in prostitution. She was arrested at a hotel on the 100 block of Diemer Drive at 10:47 a.m. after soliciting an undercover officer for prostitution services. Reyes was charged with engaging in Prostitution and was committed to the Burlington County Minimum Security Facility in lieu of $7,500 bail.

A resident of the 4400 block of Church Road reported a theft from an unlocked vehicle. The incident occurred between Jan. 31 at 10 p.m. and Feb. 1 at, 7 a.m. Credit cards, valued at approximately $5, were taken.

A customer of the Wegman’s on Centerton Road reported the theft of an iPad. The incident occurred on Feb.1 between 5 and 5:45 p.m. The iPad was taken from a shopping cart while the victim was shopping. The iPad is valued at approximately $800.

Two members of LA Fitness on Dearborne Circle reported thefts from their vehicles. The incidents occurred on Feb. 1 between 4:45 and 5:50 p.m. Cash, credit cards, and personal identification documents, valued at approximately $120, were taken. Entry was gained by prying the front doors. Damage for both vehicles is estimated at $600.

Mt. Laurel Police arrested a 36-year-old man of the 1300 block of Larchmont Place, for driving while intoxicated. He was stopped on Union Mill Road at 12:18 a.m. and charged with driving while intoxicated and released pending a municipal court hearing.

A resident of the 2000 block of Stokes Road reported a criminal mischief to a vehicle. The incident occurred between Dec. 20 at 9 and Dec. 31 at 9 a.m. A vehicle quarter panel was dented. Damage is estimated at $400.

Owners of two vehicles parked at 1 Hovtech Boulevard reported thefts from their vehicles. The incidents occurred on Feb. 2 between 6:20 and 8 p.m. Two purses and contents, valued at approximately $440, were taken. Entry was gained by breaking windows to the vehicles. Damage for both vehicles is estimated at $700.

A resident of the 2500 block of Yarmouth Lane reported an assault. The incident occurred on Feb. 2 at approximately 9:30 p.m. The victim reports being assaulted by several subjects following a party on the unit block of Oakhurst Lane.

A township resident reported a burglary and theft to a storage unit on the 200 block of Creek Road. The incident occurred between Feb. 2 at 3 p.m. and Feb. 3 at 7:45 a.m. No force was used to gain entry. Copper and electrical wiring, valued at approximately $1,000, was taken.

An employee of Wegman’s on Centerton Road reported the use of counterfeit currency to purchase merchandise. The incident occurred on Jan. 25 at approximately 7:30 p.m. $200 in counterfeit currency was passed for the fraudulent purchase of $44 in merchandise.

A resident of the 400 block of Aster Place reported an attempted burglary to their residence. The incident occurred during an unknown time period over the past several months. Entry was attempted by prying the rear window. No entry was gained.

A patron of the Funplex, SH 38, reported a theft from a vehicle. The incident occurred on Jan. 30 between 6:30, and 9 p.m. A purse and contents valued at approximately $60, was taken. Entry was gained by breaking a window. Damage is estimated at $200.

Mt. Laurel Police arrested a 30-year-old woman of the unit block of Ablet Village, Camden, on Jan.31 for prescription fraud. The woman was arrested after presenting a fraudulent prescription at the Wegman’s Pharmacy on Centerton Road. She was charged with obtaining prescription drugs by fraud. She was served with criminal complaints and lodged in the Burlington County Jail after failing to post $12,500 bail.

Mt. Laurel Police arrested a 27-year-old man of the unit block of Clover Lane, Levittown, PA, on Feb. 1, for driving while intoxicated. He was stopped on Union Mill Road at 12:34 a.m. and charged with driving while intoxicated and released pending a municipal court hearing.

Mt. Laurel Police arrested a 52-year-old man of the 600 block of Guilford Road, Cherry Hill, on Feb.1, for driving while intoxicated. He was stopped on Route 73 at 12:09 a.m. and charged with driving while intoxicated and released pending a municipal court hearing.
