Mayor’s Breakfast begins at 9 a.m. tomorrow

The 41st annual Mayor’s Breakfast, hosted by the Haddonfield Lions Club, will be held on Saturday, Jan. 19 at the First Presbyterian Church, 20 Kings Highway East in Haddonfield.

The event will begin at 9 a.m.

Tickets are $7 each and are available at the door.

Mayor Tish Colombi will deliver the annual State of the Borough Address and also present the 2013 Citizen of the Year Award, which recognizes an outstanding member of the Haddonfield community.

The Lions will be collecting eyeglasses, hearing aids, printer cartridges and cell phones for recycling.

This year, the club will also be collecting non-perishable food items for the food pantry at the John D. Young Memorial Blind Center in Absecon.

The Haddonfield Lions Club is a service organization that provides financial support for community events and activities, for those who are in need, locally and globally, and to those with sight-related problems.
