Join MoorArts for an evening of creative movement and active games for elementary students and their families on Friday, Jan.18 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. on the third floor of the Church Street Recreation Center. Prizes will be awarded for hula-hoop contests, a limbo-off and relay events. Parents and grandparents are invited onto the dance floor to join in the fun as the DJ keeps the music flowing. The annual event, designed to encourage children to physically interact with music, is sponsored by MoorArts and presented in cooperation with the Moorestown Parks and Recreation Department. Proceeds from MoorMotion and all MoorArts events support student scholarships and teacher grants in the arts in Moorestown Public Schools.
