POLICE: Garden tools stolen from shed

The following incidents were taken from reports on file with the Cherry Hill Police Department’s Facebook page.

On Jan. 12 at 9:25 p.m., a woman of the 700 block of Righter Mill Road in Penn Valley, Pa., was arrested and charged with shoplifting after attempting to leave Kohl’s, 2133 Route 38, without paying for merchandise valued at $370.42.

On Jan. 11 at 1:19 p.m., police responded to the Apple Store in the Cherry Hill Mall for a shoplifter. A man, of the 1400 block of Timber Creek in Lindenwold, was arrested and charged with shoplifting and related charges after attempting to leave the store without paying for merchandise valued at $649.

On Jan. 11 at 9:40 a.m., police responded to the 500 block of Chapel Avenue West for a burglary. The incident occurred between 11 p.m. on Jan. 10 and 9:30 a.m. on Jan. 11. Unknown persons forced entry into a shed and stole garden tools. This incident is under investigation by the Cherry Hill Police Investigative Unit.

On Jan. 11 at 12:34 a.m., police responded to the Feather Nest Inn, 703 Hampton Road, for a robbery. It was reported that the suspect, a man of the 300 block of Baldwin Road in Glassboro, refused to pay a cab fare and when he was confronted by the cab driver, he assaulted him and fled the scene. Police checked the area and found the suspect hiding inn a room at the Feather Nest Inn. He was arrested, charged with robbery and remanded to the Camden County Jail in lieu of bail.

On Jan. 6 at 1:02 p.m., a woman of the 1400 block of Bradley Avenue in Camden was arrested and charged with shoplifting after attempting to leave Wal-Mart, 500 Route 38, without paying for merchandise valued at $323.29.
