POLICE: Report of thefts on Fellowship Road

The following incidents were taken from reports on file with the Mt. Laurel Police Department.

The Aloft Hotel, Super 8 Hotel, and Starbucks located in the 500 block of Fellowship Road, reported the theft of brass backflow devices from their businesses. The total value of the devices was $1,200. The incidents occurred sometime between Dec. 14 at 7 a.m. and Jan. 7 at 11:30 a.m. The devices were forcibly removed from the exterior of the buildings. Damage is estimated at an undetermined amount.

The tires of several vehicles parked in the area of the 700 and 800 block of Country Club Parkway were damaged. The incidents occurred between 12 and 12:32 a.m. on Jan. 8. Total damage is approximately $3200.

A resident of the 5400 block of Aberdeen Drive reported a criminal mischief to a vehicle. The incident occurred between Dec. 31 at 7 p.m. and Jan. 1 at 9 a.m. The vehicle was scratched. Damage is estimated at $500.

A resident of the 4200 block of Greenwich Way reported an arson. The incident occurred on Jan. 8 at 3:26 p.m. Cardboard boxes adjacent to the rear of the residence were set on fire, damaging the vinyl siding and patio furnishings. Damage is estimated at $1,000.

An employee of the LA Fitness on the Dearborne Circle reported a criminal mischief. The incident occurred on Jan. 8 at 5:26 p.m. A fire extinguisher was discharged into the pump room of the pool. Damage is estimated at $150.

A Lumberton resident reported a theft from an unlocked vehicle while parked on the 4300 block of Dearborn Circle. A purse and contents, valued at approximately $1,300, was taken. The incident occurred on Jan. 8 between 7 and 8 p.m. January 8.

Mount Laurel Police arrested a 32-year-old man of the 600 block of Princeton Avenue, Maple Shade, on Jan. 7, for driving while intoxicated (DWI). He was stopped on SH 73 at 10:11 p.m. and charged with (DWI) and released pending a municipal court hearing.
