Tickets are now on sale for “School House Rock Junior” performed by Stage Kidz at Haddonfield Plays and Players. Show times for School House Rocks are Nov. 15, 16, and 17 at 7 p.m. and Nov. 18 at 1 p.m.
Stage Kidz, in its 12th season, has taught the magic of theatre to an estimated 1,000 children, many of whom go on to the Philadelphia Theatre and appear in commercials. The camp’s philosophy is more than just learning about theater; Stage Kidz doesn’t build stars, but confident children.
“It’s a great chance for kids to get to know themselves, their friends, their characters and how to do something fun and productive,” said Kim Micale, executive director of Stage Kidz. “It gives the kids a safe place to go, have fun, and learn while they are at it.”
Micale, who has been working with the program for seven years, is one of many certified teachers, all performers themselves.
Stage Kidz provides a valuable and affordable education in theater, self-confidence, and working in a group, all skills important for children to succeed in their futures.
