The following are updates issued by Tabernacle Township officials:
Trash and recycling
Tuesday and Wednesday trash is being addressed today, Wednesday, Oct. 31. As this is a very large pick-up, not all trash may be picked up today. Please leave your trash at curbside and it will be addressed by Thursday, Nov. 1. Thursday trash pickup is not being affected.
Recycling is being delayed until Friday, Nov. 2.
Brush removal
Brush removal from the storm will be collected throughout the township beginning the week of Nov. 13. Residents are being advised that this is only for storm brush, not lot clearing and that the normal requirements must be met for collection. Leaves in the pile will be cause for rejection. Once the street has been addressed, the public works crew will not return until spring schedule of 2013.
Fourth quarter tax payment
The fourth quarter tax payment is due on Nov. 1, and will be considered late after Nov. 10. As Nov. 10 falls on a Saturday, payments should be in the tax collector’s office by Friday, Nov. 9. Failure to make payment by this date will result in an automatic tax sale status resulting in additional late fees and advertising fees.
