LETTER: Ramblewood residents plant trees, thank community

On Sept. 22, the residents of Ramblewood held their community tree planting event.

The residents’ community project received 42 tree donations most Leyland Cypress and a few Green Giant Abbreviates.

We would like to thank Ramblewood Garden Center, Clover Garden Center, Home Depot in Mt. Laurel, Lowes in Mt. Laurel, Home Depot in Delran, Lowes in Delran, Lowes in Voorhees and Home Depot in Cherry Hill for all the trees donated with an extra special thanks to Home Depot in Delran for providing the service to assist with the planting. This truly shows neighbors pulling together to help improve a community.

The residents will be pulling together the beginning of Nov. 2012 to plant 16 four to five-foot Dogwood trees that will be received from The N.J. Tree Foundation program to plant 200 trees in Burlington County.

Also Home Depot has offered to come back in November to also assist with this planting.

The residents would like to thank both of these organizations and express our appreciation to everyone who contributed to our event.

We would also like to thank David Vales and Allen Buschar for the use of their truck and assisting with picking up the trees on many occasions as they were donated and Elsa Fountain for the Work Order Preparation.

Thanks are also extended to Papa Johns on Church Road in Mt. Laurel and Domino’s Pizza on Maple Avenue in Marlton for providing lunch for the event.

We are very excited with this enhancement to our community and look forward to the long-term benefits these trees will provide and improving the quality of life for everyone in our area.
