During this investigation, the officer noticed heavy damage to the 1997 blue Ford Taurus on the front passenger side. The damage is consistent with the vehicle striking a pedestrian.

The driver, an 81-year-old Cherry Hill resident, recalled striking something but was unsure of what and unsure where.

According to Sargent Joseph Friel, helicopters and dogs searched the surrounding area for a possible victim, in addition to calling local-area hospitals with no success.

The Evesham Police Department is asking anyone who saw a 1997 blue Ford Taurus stopped along the side of the roadway or witnessed a collision to contact us at (856) 983–1116, or via email at Facebook@eveshampd.org
