On Saturday, Sept. 15, visit Voorhees Town Center to celebrate the new season with family and friends at the Fifth Annual Fall Harvest Festival from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Also, in keeping with the theme, you can purchase your own Jersey Fresh “Fall Harvest” from the farmers market from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Inspired by a country farm, the free Fall Harvest Festival is sure to get local residents in the autumn spirit with live entertainment and activities for all ages. Highlights include square dancing with Caller Glenn Matthew, a petting zoo, blue grass music by the Stone Mountain Road Band and horse-drawn Conestoga wagon rides for $2 per person, which benefits the Alicia Rose Victorious Foundation.
In addition, to celebrate the September release of “Snow White and the Huntsman,” the first 50 women will receive a free nail polish change to “Queen Raveena Red,” compliments of Rizzieri, while enjoying a showing of the movie on a large screen TV. Children can enjoy free Snow White apples and crafts hosted by Bayada Nurses.
