Gallery & video: Habitat for Humanity puts up walls on Moorestown house
Habitat for Humanity Burlington County started to piece together the future home of Kayla and James Lyons on Thursday, Aug. 30. The over grown lot was cleared out to make way for a foundation, studding and finally the four walls that will make the brother and sister duo feel at home.
Habitat for Humanity Burlington County Construction Manager Allen McSparron said the expected completion date for the build is by the end of December.
While putting the walls up, McSparron directed Kayla to stand in the doorframes for the front and back walls.
She was unsure if the walls would make it over without touching her, but when the walls were raised above her head she smiled and was ready to finish the job.
