Local resident named President-Elect of Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association

Nancy Winkler, Esq., a partner at Eisenberg Rothweiler Winkler Eisenberg & Jeck P.C., has been named President-Elect of the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association (PTLA), the oldest trial lawyer association in Pennsylvania. She will become President in 2013. PTLA is an organization made up of lawyers who are dedicated to the preservation of the American legal system and work to protect the rights of all individuals to seek justice in the Courts.

Working hard to protect the rights of innocent victims has been at the heart of Winkler’s career. For over 20 years, she has represented individuals and their families in the litigation of complex personal injury matters involving automobile defects, product liability, pharmaceutical liability, medical malpractice, toxic exposure, construction accidents, falls and automobile/trucking accidents. She serves on the Board of Governors of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice and is a member of local and state bar associations in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. In 2008, she was inducted as a Fellow of Litigation Counsel of America.

Recognitions Winkler has received include being selected as one of the Top 50 Women Attorneys in Pennsylvania in 2011 and 2012 and as a Super Lawyer for 2005, 2006, 2007, 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2012. She is also a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. Winkler received the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association’s President’s Award in 2002 and the Pennsylvania Association for Justice Service Award in 2009. Winkler also co-authored the book Pennsylvania Automobile Litigation; Guidelines and Forms for the Trial Lawyer; Third Edition. She routinely volunteers her time to take on pro bono cases for the indigent.

Winkler resides in Cherry Hill with her husband and two sons. Winkler earned her Bachelor’s Degrees in English and Economics magna cum laude from Temple University honors program in 1984 and a J.D. degree from Temple University School of Law in 1987.
