Prescription pills, money and a car seized in search by police

On August 2, at approximately 9:45 p.m., the Evesham Police Department, through an on-going investigation into the sale of drugs, executed a search warrant on two vehicles.

The search resulted in the seizure of oxycodone prescription pills, money and a vehicle.

A 27-year-old male of Marlton was arrested and charged with third degree possession of prescription pills, third degree distribution of prescription pills and third degree distribution of prescription pills in a school zone. He was lodged in the Burlington County Jail in lieu of $50,000 cash bail.

Additionally, a 23-year-old female of Vincentown was arrested and charged with third degree conspiracy to distribute prescription pills and third degree conspiracy to distribute prescription pills in a school zone. She was released on her own recognition.
