Haddonfield bike thief caught at PATCO station

The following incidents can be found on file with the Haddonfield Police Department:

• A caller reported to police on June 24 at 7:18 p.m. that an unknown person entered her vehicle and took her wallet and camera from her purse.

• A Windsor Avenue resident reported to police on June 21 at 11:14 p.m. that a suspect stole his bike and was last seen riding the bike towards Haddon Avenue.

A PATCO officer called the Haddonfield department and said a suspect matching the same description was at the Ferry Avenue station. An officer brought the victim and an eyewitness to the station and questioned the suspect.

The suspect admitted to stealing the bike. He was remanded to the Camden County Correctional Facility at 2:40 a.m.

• A resident from Longwood Drive reported to police on June 18 at 4:43 p.m. that an unknown actor entered her unlocked vehicle and stole $30 in cash and her registration cards.

• An Ardmore Avenue resident reported to police on June 18 at 3:19 p.m. that an unknown suspect stole a copper garden weather vane from the front of the yard.
