Report: Pedestrian involved in motor vehicle accident airlifted to hospital

The Mt. Laurel Township Police Department is investigating a pedestrian motor vehicle accident at Route 38 and Briggs Road occurring at 8:45 a.m. today. A pedestrian crossing the eastbound lanes of Route 38 was struck by a vehicle traveling east on Route 38. Mt. Laurel Fire Department and Mt. Laurel Emergency Services responded. The pedestrian was flown to Cooper Hospital by Southstar with unspecified injuries.

The cause of the collision is still under investigation by the Mt. Laurel Police Department. Anyone with information regarding the collision is asked to contact the Traffic Bureau at (856) 234–1414 ext. 565.
