Evesham Township Police releases first-quarter stats

The Evesham Police Department has conducted a review of its 2012 first quarter activity. The department conducted 23,580 police-service activities, and of these activities, there were:

• 7,927 calls for service.

• 493 adult arrests.

• 40 juvenile arrests.

• 499 motor vehicle collisions.

• 6,510 traffic stops.

• 53 drunken-driving arrests.

• 2,522 property checks.

The 2012 first quarter stats demonstrated a rise from the 2011 first quarter statistical information and demonstrates an increasing need and demand for the service of the Evesham Police Department.
