Welcome to the hall of fame

Dennis W. Devery, vice president for Planning and Research at Thomas Edison State College, was induced into the Burlington County College (BCC) Alumni Hall of Fame at the 2012 Academic Awards and Scholarship Ceremony held at the Lewis M. Parker Center in Pemberton on April 21.

Established in 1980 by the board of directors of the Burlington County College Alumni Association, Inc., the hall of fame honors alumni who have achieved career success and/or have contributed significantly to their community through prolonged volunteer service. Those inducted into the hall of fame have their names inscribed on a commemorative plaque in the Lewis M. Parker College Center Student Lounge on BCC’s Pemberton campus and receive a personalized plaque to keep. There is also a “virtual” Hall of Fame on the Alumni Association website at www.bccalumni.net.

“I am thrilled to be inducted into the Burlington County College Alumni Hall of Fame,” Devery said. “It is an honor to be included among the many dedicated and respected members of this prestigious community.”

At the Thomas Edison State College, Devery is responsible for guiding the strategic planning process as well as institutional data, research and quality assurance. He is a resident of Moorestown.
