I knew my safe was right here yesterday…

The following items can be found on file with the Haddonfield Police Department:

• A Lane of Acres resident reported to police on March 23 at 10:16 p.m. that his home had been broken into and several items had been stolen.

Jewelry, silverware and a 350-pound safe — which held a loaded handgun and expensive watches — were stolen from the house. The officer at the scene said processed the home and entered the stolen gun into the NCIS database.

• A Hawthorne Avenue resident reported to police on March 18 at 9:52 a.m. that her 6-year-old son’s orange and white bicycle had been stolen from the front of her home overnight.

• Representatives from Tavistock Country Club reported to police on March 17 at 7:15 a.m. that several suspects had driven an ATV on the golf course and damaged several greens. An investigation led to three juveniles, who admitted to driving the vehicle.

The officer spoke with the juveniles and their parents.

Tavistock didn’t file any charges against the suspect, reports said.

• A Marne Avenue resident reported to police on March 15 at 1:54 p.m. that there were several unauthorized charges made on his Discover Card in November.

They totaled $99.75.

• A report came in to the department on March 16 at 9:07 p.m. that juveniles threw a case of beer out a window of a car they were driving in on Centre Street.

Officers say they found an empty case of “Natural Lite” beer on the street and no signs of the car.

The beer case was disposed of at the department of public works.
