Voorhees spring cleanup is here

Mayor’s Message: Michael Mignogna

The change of season typically leads to housework, including spring cleaning. The Voorhees Township Public Works Department is assisting in this chore by offering to pick up larger than normal amounts of non-hazardous household trash being discarded from attics, garages, etc. Pick up will not include construction debris, hazardous materials, televisions or computers.

Curbside leaf collection is also being offered with two options.

The first allows bagged leaves or leaves in trash cans to be placed curbside on Sunday after 4 p.m. and by 6 a.m. on Monday for pick-up township wide.

The second option allows loose leaves to be left at curbside, but only during designated times. Leaves may be placed at curbside the weekend before your scheduled collection week per the below timetable. Please keep your leaf pile free of branches and twigs because such items will clog the machine. Please continue to place grass in cans if possible.
