More than $20,000 worth of jewelry stolen in Haddonfield

The following items can be found on file with the Haddonfield Police Department:

• A mother contacted the police on March 21 at 4:59 p.m. that her son’s Trek cruiser style bicycle was stolen from the Central Middle School bike rack. The bike was unlocked.

The serial number was provided and entered into the department’s NCIC.

• A Kings Highway West resident reported to police on March 20 at 3:35 p.m. that an unknown suspect entered a door on the east side of the home and stole his Breitling watch.

• A resident reported to police on March 19 at 3:40 p.m. that she was bit by a dog that was being walked and on a leash. The dog had up to date vaccinations and the officer copied its information down.

The victim was transported by the Haddonfield ambulance squad to Kennedy Health System in Cherry Hill.

• A W. Lind Avenue resident reported to police on March 10 at 11:36 a.m. that she and her husband noticed that $29,200 of jewelry was missing from their upstairs bedroom. It was last seen in the bedroom a month ago, the victim said.

The suspect stole one sapphire ring, three other rings, a tennis bracelet, and a diamond necklace.

• A Jefferson Avenue resident reported to police on March 7 at 5:18 p.m. that she was notified by her credit company that someone tried to make a falsified purchase at Best Buy with her credit card. It was denied.

The victim said she contacted her credit company and found another falsified purchase and cancelled her card.
