Hey, why is that door wide open?

The following items can be found on file with the Haddonfield Police Department:

• A Station Avenue resident reported to police on Feb. 6 at 3:54 p.m. that he noticed a rear window at his home had been forced open. Nothing was missing from the home.

• Officers reported to a Tavistock Lane home on Feb. 6 at 8:23 p.m. for an alarm activation. A window had been broken into at the rear of the home, but all of the doors were locked. There was loose change on the ground near the window, but nothing else appeared to be missing or ransacked. The arriving officers processed the scene.

• A Hopkins Avenue resident reported to police on Feb. 8 at 3:19 a.m. that her husband’s car alarm had been activated. She ran outside in time to see a man running away from the scene toward Grove Street. Officers searched the area, but could not find the suspect.

• A Hawthorne Avenue resident reported to police at 8:56 a.m. that her locked vehicle had been entered overnight. The vehicle had been parked in her driveway at the time of the incident. Nothing appeared to be stolen.

• A Hopkins Avenue resident reported to police on Feb. 8 at 5:35 p.m. that someone had entered her unlocked vehicle overnight and stole the car’s vehicle registration. It was parked in the driveway at the time of the incident.

• A dog walker reported to police on Feb. 2 at 10:15 a.m. that while she was walking down Centre Street, she saw the door of 604 Centre St. wide open. When officers arrived on the scene, they noticed that several televisions had been stolen from the apartment. The owner of the apartment was contacted and the tenant was informed of the incident. Officers reported that three televisions, a Game Cube, a Play Station, a video game, jewelry, coins and a DVD player had been taken from the apartment.
