Beauty is in the “Eye of the Beholder” in Haddonfield

The Markeim group photography exhibition, “Eye of the Beholder,” starts Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2012 and closes Saturday Feb. 25 and is free and open to the public. The Markeim Arts Center is open from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, and 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday. The center is located at Lincoln Avenue and Walnut Street, Haddonfield, N.J.

The opening reception is free and open to the public and will be held on Friday, Feb. 3 (First Friday) from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. A special performance by “Co-Ed,” the acclaimed HMHS a cappella singing group, will be held at 8 p.m.

Hundreds of submission were received and more than 40 Haddonfield, Philadelphia, New York and South Jersey photographers will be represented by their most amazingly beautiful photographs. The show will also include several beautiful vintage photographs loaned by the Historical Society of Haddonfield.
