Plenty to do for kids at the Haddonfield Public Library

The Haddonfield Public Library presents the following kids programs for the month of January. The theme for this month is “Icy cold and toasty warm in January.”

A preschool story time for kids 3 to 5 will be held Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. and Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. Story time on Jan. 4 is cancelled.

Toddler time for kids 2 to 3 will be held on Thursdays at 10:30 a.m.

Make a fuzzy penguin at preschool story time on Jan. 17 and 18 and at toddler time on Jan. 19.

Spanish story time for kids age 3 to 6 will be held on Tuesday Jan. 3 and Jan. 17 at 1:30 p.m. Italian story time will be held on Tuesday Jan. 10 and 24 at 1:30 p.m. Please call 429–1304 to sign up.

Read to a dog for emerging readers will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 3 and 17 from 4:15 to 5:15 p.m. and Thursday Jan. 5 and 19 from 4 to 5 p.m. Call 429–1304 to schedule a 15-minute session.

Rockabye readers program for babies nine to 24 months and parents or caretakers begins Friday, Jan. 20 at 10:30 a.m. through Feb. 24. Please register at the library or call 429–1304.

Luloo’s back with her wonderful Read, Writ, Rock Band program on Fridays from Jan. 13 to Feb. 17 from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Boys and girls age 7 to 12 will create, practice, perform and produce a song on a CD with singer songwriter Sara O’Brien. The cost is $30 per person. Call 429–1304 to register.
