Two arrested in Cherry Hill after month-long marijuana investigation

Cherry Hill Police Report

The Cherry Hill Police Special Investigations squad concluded a month-long investigation involving the sale of synthetic marijuana this weekend with the execution of a Search Warrant at the Exxon Station at Route 70 and Springdale Rd.

A 44-year-old male from Oaklyn and a 27-year-old male from Mt. Laurel were arrested and charged with four counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession with intent to distribute and possession to distribute within a school zone. Preliminary hearings are scheduled for Dec. 6 at CJP Court in Camden.

On Nov. 27 at 11:48 a.m., police responded to the 400 block of Sheffield Rd. for a burglary. The incident occurred between 6 p.m. on Nov. 25 and 11:48 a.m. on Nov. 27. Unknown actors forced entry through a rear door and stole copper piping from the residence. This incident is under investigation by the Cherry Hill Police Investigative Unit.

On Nov. 25 at 8:37 a.m., police responded to the Unit Block of Imperial Dr. for a burglary. The incident occurred between 3 p.m. on Nov. 20 and 7 p.m. on Nov. 24. Unknown actors forced entry through a rear door. No proceeds were reported missing. This incident is under investigation by the Cherry Hill Police Investigative Unit.

On Nov. 24 at 12:47 a.m., police initiated a motor vehicle stop and Haddonfield Rd. and Martin Ave. for a motor vehicle violation. Through investigation by police, it was determined the vehicle license plate was fraudulent. The driver, a male from Philadelphia, was arrested and charged with Displaying a False Document, Displaying a False Insurance Card and for an outstanding warrant.

On Nov. 22 at 9:43 a.m., police responded to the 200 block of Columbia Blvd. for a burglary. The incident occurred between 8:05 and 9:30 a.m. on Nov. 22. One actor forced entry through a ground level window and stole a television and video camera, while the second actor waited outside in a vehicle. Through investigation by the Cherry Hill Police Investigative Unit, a Pennsauken male was charged with Burglary to Structure and related charges and a second Pennsauken male was charged with Conspiracy.

On Nov. 19 at 8:40 p.m., a male stole an $800 TV from Walmart. He walked out the emergency exit doors and loaded it into a black SUV, possibly a Jeep Cherokee. If anyone can identify this male please call Det. Glatz at 432–8834.
