‘A Christmas Carol’ comes to Mount Laurel

Mount Laurel Library will be hosting “A Christmas Carol” performed by Greg Oliver Bodine from the North Shore Theatre on Sunday, Dec. 4 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. This one-act, one-hour, solo stage adaptation of Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” is free and open to the public. No registration is required.

The script is based on a condensed version of the novel that Dickens used while on the second of his historic reading tours of the United States. The performance is suitable for adults and children ages 8 and up.

“Greg Oliver Bodine’s one-man telling of ‘A Christmas Carol’ completely swept me away to Dickens’ London. His mastery of character, storytelling and expression is a joy to watch again and again. Six times in my case!” Ed McNamee, founding producer of Manhattan Theatre Source, said.
