The demolition of the town hall building, located at 111 West Second Street, will begin this week. The demolition will be performed by using a hydraulic claw machine, and possibly an arm-mounted jackhammer, which will tap, push and grab pieces of the building and place them in piles.
On Tuesday afternoon the building was about a third down already. A small group of onlookers had gathered in front of the old town hall and were watching the demolition.
