Better late than never for Brightview Senior Living

Brightview Senior Living celebrated the grand opening of its newest property — Brightview Greentree — on Tuesday, Oct. 11 with over 250 guests in attendance. Residents, family members, local dignitaries, healthcare professionals and members of Brightview’s main office staff from Baltimore were on hand to enjoy the festivities. After opening on July 8, over 100 residents have already moved to Brightview Greentree, a 50 percent occupancy rate.

Brightview Greentree, located at 170 Greentree Road in Marlton, is the largest of its organization’s 22 senior communities and offers a unique rental continuum including independent living (91 apartments), assisted living (64 apartments) and a memory care neighborhood called “Wellspring Village” (25 apartments for seniors with Alzheimer’s and other more advanced forms of dementia).

Marilynn Duker, President of The Shelter Group (which owns Brightview Senior Living), kicked off the dedication ceremony with words of recognition for the Brightview staff, vendor partners and Evesham Township Mayor Randy Brown for their instrumental hard work to help get Brightview Greentree up and running. Brightview Greentree Executive Director Mike Reed presented a plaque to the Resident Council featuring the names of the first 30 Charter Member Residents who moved into the community, including their first resident Millie Gallaso.

Following the dedication ceremony and ribbon-cutting on Oct. 11, all guests enjoyed an exciting evening of hors d’oeuvres, beverages, “live” jazz music and tours of the community’s amenities featuring a café, movie theatre, fitness center, library, computer center, pub, game room, therapy and massage rooms, salon, outdoor barbeque / fire pit area, model apartments and much more.

“Brightview Senior Living is excited to be a part of the South Jersey healthcare community,” stated President Marilynn Duker. “Our reputation for providing quality personalized care and a ‘vibrant’ social atmosphere is already generating many new public and professional word of mouth referrals.”
