Stroke, stroke, stroke!

The Moorestown Rowing Club began its fall season in Wilmington, Del. at the Head of the Christina Regatta. The autumn regattas tend to be mixed events with high schools, colleges and master level races filling the day. Many of these races are “head” races where one or two boats head down the course at intervals racing the clock rather than running heats with five to six boats rowing down the course against one another.

The University of Delaware’s team started the day with an exhibition of races. Jimmy Currell, Moorestown High School class of 2010 is a member of Delaware’s crew.
