Accosted for not giving a suspect a ride

The following items can be found on file with the Moorestown Township Police Department:

•A complainant reported to police on Oct. 5 that sometime between Oct. 2 and 3 a lock was cut to a maintenance shed. Two washing machines and one dryer was stolen.

• A resident from Harris Avenue reported to police on Oct. 5 at 8:52 p.m. that a tall male subject was walking in his back yard. Patrols checked the area and were unable to locate the subject.

• A resident from W. Maple Avenue reported to police on Oct. 6 at 3:23 p.m. that while working at a house he heard his vehicle start and then observed it drive away. The vehicle was last seen on Maple Avenue driving towards Church Street. A witness described the suspect as a Hispanic male, in his early twenties, wearing a dark blue shirt and dark shorts with a white baseball hat turned backwards.

• During a routine patrol officers observed that the glass front door to 115 W. Main Street was broken on Sept. 30 at 9:25 p.m. No entry had been gained to the business.

• A resident from the 200 block of Saint Anthony’s Drive reported to police on Sept. 30 at 9:47 p.m. that he heard loud banging noises from the rear of his home. Patrols responded and found the rear door had been forced open.

Patrols checked the house and did not locate anyone hiding inside. Nothing was reported to be missing.

• A complainant reported to police on Oct. 1 at 10:48 p.m. that a suspicious person asked her for a ride when she was walking to her car at the Family Dollar on W. Camden Avenue.

The male asked for a ride and when she said no he became verbally abusive towards her. Patrols checked the area and were unable to locate the subjects.
