“Based on Birsu’s depth and breath of experience, she was a natural choice for MNRS,” Bob Waller, AH’s president and COO said. “Her leadership and management skills will help guide the organization, and facilitate their long term growth and strategic direction.”

The MNRS is a professional nursing organization with over 1,300 members who conduct research in all facets of nursing including genetics; addiction and substance abuse; end of life and palliative care; public/community health; and nursing ethics. MNRS hosts an annual research conference which offers workshops; award and grant presentations; poster presentation forums; exhibits and other educational opportunities for those in the research nursing community.

“The MNRS Board of Directors is very excited about our partnership with AH,” MNRS President Janet Larson said. “With AH’s expertise, MNRS has the resources to facilitate the growth and expansion in new and exciting ways, by providing state of the art services to current members, and recruiting younger members and clinically oriented scholars.”

MNRS joins an already impressive list of medical and trade societies, including several nursing and research organizations such as the New Jersey Association of Nurse Anesthetists (NJANA); the American Association of Heart Failure Nurses (AAHFN); and the Osteoarthritis Research Society International (OARSI).

Association Headquarters, Inc. is a leader in the field of voluntary organization management.
