Haddon Fire Company №1 will be conducting a training exercise at the corner of Oak Avenue and Chews Landing Road (601 Chews Landing Road) on Thursday evening, Aug. 25 from 7 to 9 p.m.
As you are likely aware, the home is scheduled for demolition in the near future. Please do not be alarmed by the activity, as we will be simulating a real house fire scenario, using theatrical smoke. This allows our firefighters to experience very realistic situations as part of their training requirements.
Oak Avenue may be temporarily closed during the training and our supply hoses could limit your access in and out of your driveway. If you have any issues or thoughts during the drill, please report them to the Officer in Charge of the training event at the Command Post (in front of the property at 601 Chews Landing Road).
