Tax reassessment not reflected in current tax bills

Please be advised the information on the current tax bill does not reflect the current reassessment taking place through out Shamong. The 2012/2013 tax bills will reflect the reassessment.

In November residents will be mailed a notice that will provide their property’s new assessed value and directions on how to request an informal review if necessary.

Please visit the Township website at www.shamong.net and click on Reassessment on the upper left hand side of the home page for additional information.
