The following items can be found on file with the Haddonfield Police Department:
• A resident reported to police on Aug. 3 at 11:33 a.m. that a vehicle on Potter Street had its rear window broken in.
No attempts had been made to enter the vehicle. The officer on the scene contacted the registered owner of the car.
• A N. Haddon Avenue resident reported to police on Aug. 3 at 8 a.m. that a brick planter had been thrown at the front door of a restaurant on N. Haddon Avenue.
An officer came to the scene and found the front window cracked from the brick. The owner of the restaurant was contacted.
• An officer conducting a patrol of Tatem Elementary School, on July 30 at 10 p.m. found a lone car parked in the back parking lot and four juvenile males approaching it as they came out of the nearby woods. The officer approached the driver and found that he only had a provisional driver’s license and he sent the other juveniles on their way.
While talking to the driver about coming to school property after school hours, the officer noticed that the juvenile smelled of marijuana. He was found to be in possession of a glass pipe and a baggie of marijuana.
The juvenile was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He was processed at police headquarters and released to his father.
• A Kings Highway East business owner reported to police on 9:20 a.m. that a terminated employee was trying to leave his business after taking money from the company’s cash register.
The owner told the employee he was going to call the police and the last he saw of the employee was him running away from the store. Police found the suspect at his home in Cherry Hill. He was remanded to the Camden County Jail.
