Cool off…take a dip

Tavistock Hills Swim Team ends the season strong with a 3–2 record and the largest number of swim team participants in 10 years. Tavistock added “Learn to Swim” several years ago and the “Junior Team” and now “Swim Team,” which are all growing with the influx of new, talented swimmers.

Tavistock posted a strong wins over Downs Farm, Stratford and Willowdale. Tavistock had the most individual qualifiers in years with 31 individuals qualifying for tri-county and all relays at all ages will be participating.

The team has grown stronger and fuller in the past years, bringing us up from the F division to now a strong presence in the C division. Head Coach Austin Thomas has high hopes for the team next year.

This past week, 8-and-under girls medley relay team broke a 2004 record with a new time of 1:34.81 with the team of Sarah Parr, Annalise Carlson, Olivia Stoner and Emily Owens.
