Celebrate the warm days of summer with outdoor shopping and fun at one of the Delaware Valley’s most beautiful downtown destinations during the Haddonfield Sidewalk Sale — Thursday, Aug. 4 through Saturday, Aug. 6, in addition to Haddonfield’s August First Friday Celebration on Aug. 5.
The three-day Sidewalk Sale retail event will feature a large selection of Haddonfield’s shops and boutiques setting up along the sidewalks of Downtown Haddonfield for summertime shopping in the sun. An array of shops in Kings Court and along Kings Highway; Ellis, Mechanic and Tanner Streets; Haddy Lane; and North & South Haddon Avenue will set up outdoors, offering spectacular savings to shoppers.
Sidewalk Sale hours are 10 a.m.-7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 4; 10 a.m.-8 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 5; and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 6.
Haddonfield’s Sidewalk Sale will also feature a DJ playing music on the street Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 12:30–3:30 p.m. at rotating locations — including Kings Court, Haddy Lane, the Shops @ 116 and the thecandybuffet — throughout each day.
Haddonfield’s Sidewalk Sale will take place the same weekend as the town’s August “First Friday” Celebration. On Friday, Aug. 5, from 5–9 p.m., downtown Haddonfield will continue celebrating the warm weather into the night with an exceptional mix of music, strolling street entertainment, on-street artists, extraordinary dining, and retail specials.
Musical entertainment for August’s First Friday includes the What Next Band performing at Kings Court; Mother Zeta performing at Republic Bank, located at 30 Kings Highway East; Better Half performing at Candy Buffet, located at 220 Kings Highway East; and Class Act performing at Shops at 116, located at 116 Kings Highway East.
“The combination of Downtown Haddonfield’s Sidewalk Sale and August First Friday Celebration is a mid-summer extravaganza not to be missed,” said Lisa Hurd, retail coordinator for the Partnership for Haddonfield. “For three days, our downtown will transform into an outdoor market with spectacular sales and great entertainment for the whole family — making it the place to be during the first weekend of August.”
