“Personal reasons” cited for board member’s resignation

Longtime Haddonfield Board of Education member Marsha Marshall resigned from the BOE last week.

According to Superintendent Richard Perry, Marshall cited “personal reasons” for her resignation from the board.

“She expressed how was proud she was to serve on the board. The BOE members and myself also expressed how much we enjoyed having her on the board. She was a valuable member and was greatly involved with the community,” he said. “I’m going to miss her leadership.”

The Haddonfield School District announces a vacancy on the Board of Education to fill an unexpired term. The deadline for filing for the Board of Education of Haddonfield is 4 p.m., August 4.

Candidates wishing to apply for the vacant board of education position are asked to submit a letter of interest along with a resume to W. Andrew Hall, Business Administrator. Hall’s address is One Lincoln Avenue, Haddonfield, N.J., 08033.
