It’s almost like an extended spring training for this talented Haddonfield Memorial High School senior athlete.
Matt Binder, 17, a soon to be senior at HMHS, pitched a gem this summer for Cherry Hill American Legion on July 13 against the West Deptford American Legion. Binder pitched complete game with 15 strike outs. Cherry Hill American Legion won the game 8–3.
Binder was a key cog to the Bulldogs success in the 2011 varsity baseball season. Binder led the Bulldogs in wins this year and was a key members of the starting pitching staff. He is figured to return to the team for his senior year.
