The Shamong Board of Education held a meeting and went over several agenda items before the school year ends. Among the topics discussed were the several positions that were filled and some new members of the district were in the audience to be welcomed to the district.
Superintendent Thomas Christensen is retiring and several members of the audience gave goodbye speeches to him and his wife also spoke about the time that he spent as superintendent of Shamong Schools.
