Kevin Comer drafted in first round of baseball drafts to the Toronto Blue Jays

Seneca High School pitcher, Kevin Comer was drafted last night in the first round of the draft picks to the Toronto Blue Jays. He was the 57th pick in the Major League Baseball’s 2011 First-Year Player Draft.

Comer who is 6-foot-3, 205 pounds and throws between 90 and 94 mph joins only three other South Jersey High School players to be drafted before the second round and the first Seneca player to be drafted while still in high school.

Now, for Comer, the choice stands between going pro or going to college and playing baseball at Vanderbilt University.
