Come get cool with the Mabel Kay House

Summer has almost arrived at the Mabel Kay House. Our “Start of Summer Picnic” is Saturday, June 11 at 2 p.m. If you want to register call 354–8789 and leave your name and phone number and the number attending. $3 admission is required.

Activities continue through the summer at our facility and at Tarditi Commons, 325 Lincoln. Friday, June 3 enjoy a game of bingo and snack on pizza from noon to 2:30 p.m. Also, on Friday, June 10, ComforCare will present information and refreshments from noon to 2:30 p.m.

On Friday, June 17 there will be speaker from the Masonic Home and a lunch offered from noon to 2:30 p.m.

Also, on Friday, June 24 we will enjoy our healthy lunch day from noon to 2:30 p.m.

Throughout June our other activities will continue. The First, third and fifth Tuesday join our bridge group at 12:30 p.m. On the second and fourth Tuesday enjoy bingo at 1 p.m.

Light aerobics will be held every Tuesday at 1 p.m., Every Monday at 11:30 a.m. join our Senior Cardio Fun and every Thursday join our Tai Chi for seniors. These activities are held at 325 Lincoln, Tarditi Commons in the community room. On Wednesday have a ball with line dancing from 1:30 to 3 p.m. at the MKH.

On Thursday, 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m., art workshop is learning and creating at the Mabel Kay Senior Center.

MKH is also an official cooling center for Camden County when the heat and humidity are very high. Come in and cool off. We are also an official food drop for the senior food shelf for needy seniors.

We have over 850 books including large print publications at our “No sign in” book exchange.
