Cancellations coming in fast and furious

The Cherokee High School varsity sports schedule is being picked apart today by the inclement weather, reported athletic secretary Valerie Dolores.

The varsity and junior varsity tennis matches versus Seneca High School have been cancelled today and rescheduled for May 25 4 p.m. The varsity match will be held at Cherokee High School and the junior varsity will be held at Seneca High School on the date.

Today’s golf match against Winslow High School will be cancelled as well, Dolores said. The game has yet to be rescheduled.

Also, Dolores reported that the varsity and junior varsity tennis matches versus Winslow High School that are scheduled for tomorrow will be played at Cherokee instead of Winslow at 3:45 p.m.
