It was a nice rebound win after a lopsided loss over the weekend, as the varsity tennis Bulldogs triumphed over Roman Catholic High School Tuesday afternoon to improve their record to 19–2.
Head Coach Jeff Holman reported that DeSean Fennell of Roman Catholic defeated Max Oberholtzer 6–1, 6–4 in first singles action to start the day, but second singles competitor Luke Grabiak of Haddonfield defeated Alex Von Hofen 6–0, 6–2. In third singles action Matt Godlewski of Haddonfield defeated GP Mars 6–2, 6–0.
In doubles action Sean Campbell and Isaac Anderson of Haddonfield defeated Jim Brighter and Joe Franchine 6–0, 6–0. In second doubles Anthony Celenza and Max Prescott of Haddonfield defeated Leroy West and Alex Stanislawski 6–1, 6–1.
The boys tennis team is marching towards the Colonial Conference playoffs which begin on Friday. The squad has one more regular season matchup on Thursday, May 12 against Shawnee High School at 3:45 p.m.
