Last chance for spring cleaning

This is it, this is the last chance you have to clean out your basement and your attic to take advantage of the township’s spring cleaning effort.

The spring cleaning event in the township is entering its fourth week, as the Public Works Department is offering to pick up larger than normal amounts of non-hazardous household trash from residents. Curbside leaf collection is also offered.

The township is reminding residents to not discard construction debris, hazardous material, televisions or personal and portable computers.

Bagged leaved and leaves in trash cans can be placed at curbside Sunday after 4 p.m. and by 6 a.m. for Monday pick up.

The township is also reminding residents to continue to place their grass clippings in trash cans.

The following township neighborhoods will have the special spring cleaning pick up until May 13:

Avian, Birch Hill Estates, Centennial Mill, Cherry Brook Farms, Christopher Tract, Dutchtown Road, Hearth Stone, High Point, Huntington Ridge, Jillian Way, Kress Acres, Kresson Road, Lake Villa Drive, Lakeside Avenue, Main Street Colony, Partridge Run, Rainwood, Reserves, Route 73 north and south, Sturbridge Estates, Heights, Lakes and Woods, Willow Oaks, Winfield Estates, and Woodbrook.
