The Bulldogs improved their record to 17–1 with a win over Paul VI. In first singles action Max Oberholtzer defeated Terry Long 6–2, 6–3. In second singles Luke Grabiak defeated Frank Raggio 6–3, 6–2, and in third singles action Matt Godlewski defeated Mark McShane 6–4, 6–0.

In first doubles action Sean Campbell and Isaac Anderson of Haddonfield defeated Nick Lamberto and Marcos Lamberto 6–4, 6–0. In second doubles Anthony Celenza and Max Prescott defeated John Villari and Mitchel Rodgers 6–1, 6–0.

But the real news of the weekend was Haddonfield suffering just its second loss of the season at the Newark Academy Invitational on Saturday, May 7. The Bulldogs were smoked by Delbarton High School, losing each match during the tournament.

Chase Savage defeated Oberholtzer 6–1, 6–1 in first singles action. Grabiak didn’t fare much better in second singles, losing to Spencer Furey 6–2, 6–1. Matt Massey took care of Godlewski in third singles action, winning 6–1, 6–1.

In doubles action Garrison Block and Eric Shiuey defeated Campbell and Anderson 2–6, 7–6 (7–5) , 6–3. It would be the closest that any Haddonfield grouping would win a match during the day. In second doubles action Tommy Pigott and Mike Boyle defeated Prescott and Celenza 2–6, 6–1, 6–3.
