The chicken will again run at midnight

Join the Canuso Foundation for the second annual Chicken Runs at Midnight event on Friday, May 20, at Haddonfield Memorial High School from 5:30 p.m. to midnight.

Thousands are expected to attend the second annual Chicken Runs at Midnight. The fund-raiser will benefit Babe’s Kids and five-year-old Tyler Townsend of Haddonfield, who is suffering from an extremely rare neurological disorder. A carnival like atmosphere will include music, games, food, family-friendly entertainment, and of course a relay and “fun” run.

Babe’s Kids, the youth division of The Canuso Foundation, is a “for kids, by kids” organization that helps brighten the lives of children who are coping with childhood cancer, serious illness, or disabilities. Lead by 11 Canuso cousins, Babe’s Kids is dedicated to getting kids involved with helping others and raising funds through a wide range of fun-filled, seasonal activities that benefit sick children in our area.

Founded in 1974 by John and Joan Canuso when their daughter Babe was diagnosed with cancer, the Canuso Foundation has raised over $2 million for cancer research at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, initiated the first Ronald McDonald House and has helped thousands of families with children who have serious medical needs.
